As the sun rises.....I will rise with You
As I open the door...I will open my heart to You
As I begin the day's journey...I will navigate it with You
As I look all around me...I will search for You
If I become tired or burdened....I will rest with You
When I hunger and thirst...I will eat and share with You
If I am lost or overcome...I will place my trust in You
In the beauty of Your creation...I will praise You
In all the stillness...I will listen for You
As I climb the steep or heavy paths...I will get my strength from You
As I feel the rain or sun on my face...I will bless You
As the sun goes down...I will give thanks to You for this day..
I open myself to you, Lord...help me to travel with you each day, using all the senses I have, to encounter you as I journey onwards. Amen
